Do you like to knit or crochet? Are you looking for a way to share your talents with the Lord and your parish community? Then our new Prayer Shawl Ministry is for you!
This new ministry at Sacred Heart, St. Helena's, and St. Mary's will be making shawls to give to those in need of extra prayers and comfort. Recipients will include but are not limited to home-bound parishioners, those suffering from illness, and the bereaved.

Bring any completed shawls and a shawl to work on if you have one. Some small donations of yarn have been made to the ministry and they will be available for pickup at the meeting. If you are in need of yarn to make shawls for the ministry but are not able to attend the meeting, please contact Maggie at 603-448-1262 to set up a time to pick up yarn.
This group will meet once a month. Meetings will rotate among the parish halls at Sacred Heart (Lebanon), St. Helena's, and St. Mary's. Most of the knitting and crocheting can be done at home, so if you would like to be a part of this ministry but are unable to attend meetings you are still welcome to participate. All completed shawls will be blessed by Fr. Charles before they are given to their recipients.
Requests for shawls for individuals can be made through the church office. There is no cost to receive a shawl.
Donations to assist with the purchase of yarn are greatly appreciated.
